First Friday Adoration
Eucharistic Adoration at St. Peter's takes place on First Fridays, following the 8 AM Mass and concluding with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at 5 PM (Mass following at 5:15 PM).
A New Opportunity for Eucharistic Adoration
Beginning September 12-13, 2006 Eucharistic Adoration will take place from Tuesday 8 PM - Wednesday 8 PM every week . Committed adorers are needed to take a Holy Hour each week. If you are interested in becoming a regular adorer, contact Jason Bunn at 343-9007 or email jdbunn (at) charter.net.

Children's Adoration
Jesus said, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. " (Mark 10:14)
St. Peter's is now offering a holy half hour for toddler and preschool-aged children (with their parent or other responsible adult), on Wednesdays from 11:30 AM until noon. Click here for more information on Children's Eucharistic Adoration.
On October 6, 2006 Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools students participated in the Children's Worldwide Day of Prayer, a Eucharistic and Marian prayer service in which the students prayed for world peace and for families.
On January 22, 2007 St. Peter's will host a Day of Prayer. That day marks the 34th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision which legalized abortion. The day will begin at 7:30 with the praying of the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary. The parish Mass is at 8 AM, after which the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed and adoration will commence. At Noon the Luminous Mysteries will be prayed. At 3 PM the Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be sung, and at 4 PM the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary will be prayed. Finally, the Glorious Mysteries will be prayed at 8 PM, and Benediction will take place at 8:30 PM, concluding the day of prayer. “It is moving for me to see how everywhere in the Church the joy of Eucharistic adoration is reawakening and being fruitful. In the period of liturgical reform, Mass and adoration outside it were often seen as in opposition to one another: it was thought that the Eucharistic Bread had not been given to be contemplated, but to be eaten, as a widespread objection claimed at that time. The experience of the prayer of the Church has already shown how nonsensical this antithesis was. Augustine had formerly said: “...No one should eat this flesh without first adoring it ... we should sin were we not to adore it.”
